This position is based in the Blakelands area of Milton Keynes. This position of Warehouse Assistant Team Leader has arisen for the picking and packing warehouse area. This positon would suit somebody who has experience managing a team and has worked in a hands on picking and packing or warehouse role. Or somebody from this industry who feels they have the skills to step up and move to the next stage of their career.
The role will be to work alongside the Warehouse Team Leader and a team of 11 people. You will be responsible for organising, supervising and monitoring employee's performance and productivity levels. You will also get involved in training, assigning tasks and delivery constructive advise.
You will need
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills (preferably knowledge of SAP systems and warehouse scanners)
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- High attention to detail
- Organised and flexible
- Basic knowledge of Excel
- Eligibility to work in the UK
