Advancing People are working closely with an International Charity who are looking for an experienced Support Manager, based in the Bedford area.
This varied and hands on Support Manager Role will involve leading the existing support team with the responsibility for managing all welfare, care and companion development activities, aligned to the values of the Charity.
Contributing actively to the supportive and safe environment for clients using their services you will ensure positive outcomes are achieved for every client, within bespoke timescales for each individual.
The Charity has a clear focus of supporting the homeless and knowledge of homelessness and related issues in previous roles is essential.
You will have worked with a wide range of people, with a natural ability to manage people, motivating the team, mentoring and leading by example.
With high levels of empathy you will be able to deal with difficult situations, adapting to different needs, with an organised approach to managing time.
This role will involve forging relationships internally and externally, communicating with the outward community and trustees of the Charity.
Experience of working in a similar Support Manager role for a Charity is essential to be considered for this role.
The salary for this role which is on a 12 month fixed term contract is up to £33,000 per annum.
Working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 31 days holiday including Bank Holidays, pension scheme and on-going individual training and development.
