Job Description

An experienced Construction Co-ordinator is required to work for an industry leader in engineering, fabrication, and installation of modular process systems.

This company offers consulting, procurement, and project management services on top of its engineering, fabrication and construction capabilities. They also provide lifecycle support division serves as a strategic partner to clients by offering field services, assessments, training, upgrades/modifications. Not to mention parts and customised products.

The Construction Coordinator will assist an on-site Construction Management team with daily, weekly, and monthly administrative reporting.


Update the ECI (Equipment Control Index) daily based upon deliveries.
Update schedule.
Manage site transportation and accommodations.
Assist in quality control management.
Manage productivity reporting.
Assist in job site safety management.
Enter time sheets.
Assist in petty cash and misc. site purchases management / tracking.
Manage all site delivery documents.
Manage all weekly time sheets.
Responsible for obtaining supplies.
Responsible for taking site photos daily.
Travel up to 50% yearly.
Assist / produce daily & weekly reports.
Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.


Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization's goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Work is performed in an office and uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions-such as: dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures-for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis is required.


Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Construction Management or a related field is required.
Knowledge of basic drafting skills and methods is required.
Knowledge of project scheduling preferred.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Remedial knowledge of AutoCAD 2012 or above software and associated file structures.
Ability to interpret engineers/designers notes and sketches for incorporation into design documents is necessary.
Excellent communication skills; both oral and written is required.
Computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs are required.
Ability to work flexible hours with some weekend and holiday work required.
Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
