Advancing People are working closely with an International Software business who are looking for a Business Development Executive, working remotely, whilst being able to visit their office based in Bedford on a monthly basis.
Our client is looking to interview immediately and will on-board a suitable candidate ASAP.
This varied and challenging home working Business Development Executive role is focused on building long term opportunities with some of the largest companies in the UK, within a specific sector.
You will be spending time using lead sourcing technology such as Linkedin Sales Navigator and Marketo, with a view of contacting a variety of decision makers in order to build a picture of pressure points within a business. In turn you can offer the most suitable software solution my client offers, in order to progress the prospect to virtually meet with a client manager and to ultimately become a new client.
There are KPI's with the role but these are focused on quality and not quantity, with the ability to earn up to 40% of your basic salary as bonus, with a fair and specific system based on conversations with prospects using Linkedin InMail, phone or email, arranging appointments for client managers, demo's and gained interested from key decision makers within a business.
Whilst you will be expected to source the right decision makers with the dedicated clients you are looking to approach, there is also an established marketing team in-house to provide lead collateral and support to succeed in the role.
You will be given a laptop, soft phone and all the tools you need for the role, along with a supportive line manager that has been with the business for over 10 years, they have a track record of developing staff and empowering them to be free-thinking in the role and not to work from a script.
Joining an established team of Business Development Executives, you will already have some experience of outbound sales in either b2b or Consumer sales, preferably selling a service or product with a longer lead time, coupled with a true consultative and fact-finding approach.
A true team player, you will be positively, working closely with other team members and client managers. With the ability to have the right conversations at the right level of detail with the right contacts, you will have licence to talk freely with clients' in order to build a relationship and to truly understand their business needs and gaps to provide the right product and service for.

There is a competitive basic salary available for this Business Development Executive role plus a bonus up to 40% of your basic salary plus benefits, full ongoing support and training.
