Job Description

Advancing People are working closely with a well respected National Charity who are looking for a proven Support Worker / Housing Officer to fulfil a new role within their regional Head Office in Bedford.

This newly created role will involve developing and managing a new case load of applications for people in need of housing in the local area. There will be plenty of front facing alongside the need for strong administration skills every step of the way.

You will need to demonstrate similar experience in your roles to date to include handling case loads, dealing with people in need, empathy and will have the ability to manage expectations of applicants and challenge the facts when required.

This role offers huge variety and satisfaction and you ca really make a difference - you will be developed by the charity and will have the opportunity to study this area further, with their support.

Salary £20,000 - £21,500 Basic plus generous holidays and company benefits.
