Job Description

Advancing People Multilingual Recruitment Specialists are now recruiting for a Service Desk Agent for their client based in Cambridge, UK. This role would suit a recent graduate from an IT course background, or an experienced tech professional.

As a Service Desk Agent it will be your responsibility to provide support assistance via the telephone and email to business customers from the Dutch speaking region.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Follow and understand industry best practise support methodologies
  • Take ownership of requests ensuring you follo through to resolution
  • Proactive and analytical when dealing with customer issues
  • Help maintain knowledge articles and other internal documentation
  • Meet agreed service levels whilst adopting ITIL processes
  • Attend customer meetings

Person Specification:

  • Fluent in Dutch
  • Technically minded and customer focused
  • Must have experience in an IT or IT support role
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Be proactive, analysitcal, and professional
  • Ideally ITIL experience & potentially aware of SQL

This is a full time permanent position offering an annual salary of up to £28,000.
