Advancing People - Recruitment Specialists are working with an established and successful client and due to their continued growth they are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their existing team in their Milton Keynes Office for a 12 month contract with a view to this going permanent.
Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant with previous experience to work within a fast paced finance department. This is an office based role, dealing with a variety of duties within the department.
- Process incoming cheques
- Raise outgoing payments and obtaining authorisation
- Bank and system reconciliations
- Taking credit card payments and posting receipts
- Maintain company bank accounts
- Process electronic payments
- Purchase ledger
Knowledge and Experience Required
- Previous accounts or similar experience
- Excellent communication
- Attention to detail
- Accurate and numerate
- Good team player
This is a permanent full time position offering a salary of £19,000 plus excellent company benefits.
