Advancing People are working closely with an established construction company based just outside of Bedford who are looking for a proven Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team.
This role is initially for a fixed period of 6 months with the view of the role potentially becoming permanent depending on company performance and forecasts.
Being a hands on role you will be mainly processing purchase orders using Sage Line 50 to input and scan invoices, additionally you will be answering calls in the office, dealing with deliveries and other ad hoc office administrative duties.
Working within a smaller team you will need to be resilient, able to work under pressure and with common sense. A positive and nurturing work environment awaits you, while you will be working in a modern newly refurbished office with onsite parking. The working hours will be Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.
My client is looking for someone that can hit the ground running and an avid user of Sage Line 50, with the opportunity to progress to dealing with reconciliations, sales ledger and cashbooks.
Any exposure to working within the construction industry or an aligned industry will be highly beneficial.
An excellent salary of £26,000 - £29,000 is available for the right proven candidate and my client is keen to interview suitable candidates ASAP with a proposed start date of 1st April 2019.
