Job Description

Advancing People are recruiting exclusively for a company based in Bedford. They have a number of contracts with some of the UK's best known companies. Due to their continued growth they are looking for a Cashier to join their friendly team.

We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our Cashier Team. This is an office based role and you will be dealing with a variety of aspects within the Cashier Team.

The Role

The daily duties for the Cashier will be:

  • Processing Incoming Cheques
  • Raising Outgoing Cheques and arranging for them to be authorised
  • Bank and System Reconciliations
  • Processing electronic payments
  • Posting receipts & payments
  • Downloading Bank Statements
  • Saving remittance advices
  • Filing & Scanning
  • ADHOC Duties
  • Faxing bank
